Gender disenfranchisement in Hong Kong churches

Notwithstanding developments in the advancement of gender equity secular and non-secular contexts, women still remain profoundly unable to access leadership roles globally traverse entrenched barriers bias institutionalized sexism. This paper focuses attention on understanding current phenomenon marginalizing treatment within male-dominated workplace Church Hong Kong, by examining one pervasive aspect inequality: vertical segregation. shows how Kong clergywomen not exempt from gender-biased treatment, but instead compelled practice work under deeply-gendered hierarchical conditions.
